Okay, we are definitely not leaving by 8. Let’s shoot for 9.
9am: Everybody is at least halfway packed. The house is a little bit cleaner, but still a wreck.
How about leaving at 10.
10am: Everybody says
that they are packed, but the ‘to-go-to-the-trailer’ pile keeps growing. The
house is slowly getting cleaner. Let’s hope to leave at 11, but we are
certainly not going to reach our original destination by tonight.
11am: Okay, I guess we aren’t
going to leave by 11. Everybody has finally finished packing their clothes and
personal items, and is now working on cleaning the house. Mom is finishing
packing all the food for the trailer. Let’s hurry up, and go bust our buns and
get this house clean! I think we can leave by 12.
12pm: Ok, we still haven’t left
yet. The house is looking better. Everybody is taking a break to eat lunch.
Hopefully we’ll leave by 1.
1pm: Okay, we are still working on the house. We have a
bit left to do and then we just have to hook up the van to the trailer, and we
can leave by 2!
2pm: So we still haven’t left yet, but I think we’re actually getting
close, as Mom has started throwing miscellaneous things in random drawers and
boxes.
2:30pm: We are all in the van,
and it is hooked up to the trailer and we’re ready to go! Now, if we can just
get out of our driveway…
3pm: It took thirty minutes to
get out of our driveway, but we made it, maybe just a little late… Hooray!
